
Evelyn Burke, MIAHIP, ICP
Evelyn is an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor who has been working with individual adults for 17 years. She works with a wide range of issues including fear and anxiety, low mood, bereavement and loss, fertility, low self-esteem and self-confidence, personal relationships, serious illness and mortality.
Evelyn's Story
Evelyn has a particular interest in working with people experiencing life changes and emotional difficulties. Working from a humanistic, person centred and relational perspective, she focuses on assisting her clients in self-study to develop awareness of their emotional and physical responses in the present moment to facilitate greater self-knowledge and enhanced wellbeing.

Evelyn has a Professional Diploma in Counselling from the Liberties College, Dublin. She also has Postgraduate Diplomas in Gestalt Psychotherapy and in Integrative Body Psychotherapy. In recent years she developed an interest in “Walk and Talk Therapy” and has done training in working with clients outdoors in nature.
She participates actively in Continuous Professional Training and is currently pursuing training in Hakomi Therapy.
Evelyn is fully accredited with the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) and is registered with the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP).
